I watched this cel for a really long time on the seller's site, and finally decided to pull the trigger once a Christmas sale came around. Now that I have it in my hands, I am SO glad I did. This cel is breathtakingly beautiful, so much more so than I ever expected. I really liked this OAV for many reasons, I feel like a lot of the characters were allowed to grow beyond where they ended up at with the end of the TV series. While I will always prefer "Tamahome", I grew to like Taka by the end and even Miaka a little bit. In this scene, Miaka has made the ultimate sacrifice in order to protect Taka from the other "Tamehome's" fatal blast. I've missed a few opportunities to obtain cels from this final episode, so I'm really glad I didn't wait on this one any longer. Absolutely adore it to pieces.
