I cannot even believe I have this cel in my hands. I waited over 10 years to find a cel of Evil Tamahome with his bandana still intact. It got to the point where I just believed it was never meant to be. Until this showed up. Midori, thank you -so- very much. This is such a beautiful cel, and it was completely affordable too. I'm so very excited to finally welcome not only a cel of Tamahome with his bandana into my collection, but an -A-1 KEY END- scene as well! The features here are so incredibly defined and beautiful. @_@ This is a full setup, complete with the dougas, gengas and timing sheet. The only thing missing was the background, which is weird considering the cel is an A-1 end. So I found another background I already had, and matched it up with this one. It worked out pretty well. :) During this scene, Tamahome has met up with Miaka at the tree where they promised to meet. Miaka at first believes that he was just "acting" cruel to her before, in order to make Nakago think he was on their side. However, when Tamahome suddenly asks where Tasuki and Chichiri are, even though he had never met Tasuki or heard his name before, Miaka suddenly realizes things aren't right. She steps back from their embrace, and looks into his eyes. In this cel, Tamahome is gazing back at her, though in such a cold hearted way. The camera stays on this cel for a very long 6 seconds, slowly panning closer. This is probably why the details are so exquisite. :) This is -the- moment when Miaka finally accepts that the Tamahome standing before her is no longer the same man she fell in love with. Obviously, this cel will never be for sale or trade. This one is all mine, baby.
