"Ashitare?" I stared at this one cel in Leigh's collection since the moment her gallery opened, and I had always admired it. When the opportunity came up to make an offer on it, I held nothing back. This is by far my most expensive cel in my entire collection, but the moment this cel arrived at my home I knew that every penny was very worth it. Never before have I seen such a gorgeous and breathtaking cel of Suboshi! This cel was much bigger than I expected it to be, and it's two layers were unstuck. Thank you -so- much Leigh, I promise to take very special care of him. This cel is the only Suboshi cel I've ever seen that is oversized, as well as having an original matching background. It's also the only one I've ever seen of him wearing his hokkan winter outfit! This comes in right smack at the very end of TV episode 30, when Nakago tells Suboshi that they will be sending out Ashitare to retrieve the Shinzaho from the Suzaku seishi. Suboshi just sort of stares off into wonder, and simply says, "Ashitare?" Then comes the ending credits. Sigh....I am in Suboshi heaven....;_; |
