I've been looking for quite a long time for a decent cel of Tomo with his makeup on, and I was really happy to snag this one for such a good price. I was super surprised that I was the only bidder! The original auction picture seemed to show a long scratch or paint missing on one side, but the only defects I found once I had it in hand was some minor paint flecking in the black, which is sooo easily corrected. So, yay! This is a really gorgeous cel of Tomo, which shows off his creepy makeup so perfectly. His costume and headdress are so marvelous, too! The expression of curiousity in his eyes is so very clear. I still need to track this down in the series, so I'll update with the specific scene info when I do. |
