U p d a t e s ((- 2002 -)) ((- 2001 -)) ((- 2000 -)) 12/20/2000 :: Ah! :D I got my first Ayashi no Ceres cel this morning! :D My waiting for the prices to go down paid off wonderfully, as I got this cel for less than $150, which is my price range. Anywho, I picked up a beautiful cel of Aya & Aki together from the very first episode, when they arrive at the Mikage house for their birthday party (they're twins). Matching BG and everything. :D Wai! Very excited about this one, hit two wishlist characters off in one shot. ^^ Now I just need a Touya and a Yuuhi! I saved the pic from taro, if you'd like to see it, just click ((- here -)) ^^ 12/18/2000 :: *g* A new Violinist of Hameln cel is up in the misc section, since it's paid for I figured it'd be alright to go ahead and put it up there. It's a beautiful shot of Raiel-sama smiling with Oboe on his shoulder. ^^ I aquired this one on my birthday at Anime Chaos, I was so very excited to get it. *^^* Now I have both a panned back shot of Raiel, and a nice cluse-up, which is what I really wanted, now I just need one where he's playing his piano! Also I added a printed bg to my rayearth cel, just cause I er wanted to, plus I love the color pink so pah. :P I'll add a larger scan of Raiel and my comments once he arrives. ^^ Ja! 12/15/2000 :: Wai! I'm officially 19 today. *^^* So all of my new cels are up! There's 3 new cels in the misc section, including a Demon Hamel (Violinist of Hameln), Zelgadis (Slayers episode 5), and an Ascot & Caldina (MKR Season 2). In the FY section, all new cels are up on page 3 including 3 new TV Yui's, and an oversized TV Tasuki! On another note, I aquired another Yui TV cel yesterday! I'm very happy about this one, I've wanted a cel from this certain sequence for a very long time. To be a little off topic, we were talking in the #anime-cel chat about how prices are raised much higher for cels where a character is smiling. When I looked at my own collection, I realized that I have many more cels of characters smirking than smiling. Does this count? ^^; 12/6/2000 :: Yay, Zelgadis-sama arrived! Special thanks to Kenna for helping me get this one! Also thanks for ID'ing the episode it's from for me. ^^ *g* It turns out, it's from the scene where Lina first gets Zel to smile and laugh, so kawaii! I love it very much. ^^ I'm debating on whether or not to update my misc gallery on the 15th or not, it depends on if I aquire a few cels I tried for or not. I should know in a couple days on the outcome. I probably won't know until around my birthday, so we'll see. ^^; Anyways, Hamel was mailed off yesterday, so he should arrive soon too! A good cel month, finally, for me. ^^ 12/2/2000 :: Wai, it's December! The month of both kurisumasu and my birthday. *^^* My next update to my site with be on December 15th, so look for it! I also have a new Violinist of Hameln cel on the way, of Hamel-sama in his demon form. :D I'm very excited about this one, now all I need is a regular Hamel-sama without his hat on, and a Hamel playing his violin! Anyways, Yui in the bubble arrived yesterday! :D I'm, very happy with it, it's beautiful. ^^ Tasuki and Zelgadis should also arrive this week, I hope. I also have another TV Yui (with background!) on the way, from episode 11. ^^ I'm having quite a lot of luck in obtaining great episode 11 Yui cels. ^^; Not that I'm complaining. *^^* I think that's about it, ja ne! ^^ 11/14/2000 :: Yaaay, I got another Yui TV cel today! :D Actualy I had eyed this cel at Animanga for months on end, and even when it was discounted I was completely broke so I couldn't buy it in time. Then, someone else bought it about a month ago and I was so heart broken. T_T but then, Krigel put it up on ebay, and he very kindly accepted an offer and ended the auction early for me. ^^ Again I am deeply moved by the fact that people are considerate enough to accept an offer and end an auction early, instead of waiting for the possibility of the auction going insanely high (which is why I *hate* ebay). So, this Yui cel will finally be given a home. *^^* I'm very happy! :D It also from one of my favourite episodes, episode 51! It's also a very pretty monotone colored cel (pale-ish blue), and an a-1 key end! *g* I'm going to add a printed bg to it when I post it up in the gallery, so the airbrush effects on the bubble will show up. Anyways, wai wai! Also, my next update will be on my birthday, December 15th! Check back then. ^^ 11/12/2000 :: Wow, it's been awhile since I updated here. O.o Gomen nasai! I ended up selling Heero, because an unfortunate incident where my neko-chan fell really ill. ;-; He is now my golden neko-chan, for he cost me $500. _-_ After that was all over however, I did pick up a very nice oversized cel of Tasuki from the fight with Evil Tamahome-sama! Wai! It has his tessan fan in it and everything. *^^* I'm really excited about this one, I've been wanting a cel from this sequence for a really long time. The bad news is that I will be selling my Heero when he arrives, most likely. So if you would like to send me an offer to me on him, please do and I will consider it. The reason I must sell him is all of a sudden I have a very expensive college book to pay for, plus I have to pay for a new phone line to be put into my room, plus the internet service. -.-;; Everything's so expensive these days. The good news is, my parents will be lending me money to buy another death-scene Nuriko, to replace the one I had to sell in order to buy that huge $600 cel, which fell through, leaving me without the cel and my nuriko. -.-;; So, I managed to get the one at Anime Chaos, and it even shows his seishi character (!!) ^^ Very happy. ^^ Now I just shall be broke for the next 3 weeks, no more cels for me. ^^; 9/27/2000 :: Ho, today I got to scratch another char off of my cel wish hit list, for the misc characters. I snagged a mad sexy Heero in his green tank top at taro today. *.* It's only a profile shot, but it's a damn good one. :D I think this'll do nicely for my one Heero cel. ^^ Now I just need Quatre and a Duo. :o Preview pic is ((- here - )) ! Sadly the bg that came with my Tama has been cut though. ;.; *sniff* It's still really pretty though, I'm very happy with it. His eyes are so gorgeous. ^^ I also have my first Magic Knight Rayearth cel on order! *claps* I recently saw more of MKR Season 2 last week, and I've fallen in love with the grown-up version of Ascot. *^^* He's so sweet! When he came in to save Umi from the genies, I started clapping and yelling like an idiot. New SD Tamahome (page 1), Tasuki (page 2), Tasuki (page 3), and a Tamahome (page 3)! Wai wai. ^^ A SD Tama has been on my wishlist for a very long time so I am very happy to finally be getting one. ^-^ Thanks everyone! 9/15/2000 :: Nine months ago I found a wonderful cel of Tasuki from the fight with evil tamahome for sale. It was more expensive, and at that time I was more of a new collector so I wasn't sure if I should spend that much on any cel. ^^; So, I held off on buying it. Since then, it was taken off the for sale page almost 5 months ago, and I was crushed for I thought it was sold. Truth was, it was suppossed to be. O.o The seller told me poor Tasuki has been put on hold a total of 4 times now. ^^; So the moment I saw it put back up for sale yesterday, I decided to finally give him a home, and bought him. ^^; So, in order to pay for him I am selling one of my newer TV Tamahome's an ebay. I am very, very happy to finally be getting this Tasuki cel, after waiting for so long. ^^; *shimmer* *^^* On another note, my other new Tasuki will be mailed off tommorrow, so he should arrive next week. *^^* I haven't heard anything about my Tamahome from yahoo japan yet, hopefully he will be here soon as well. Ja. ^^ 9/8/2000 :: It's been a bit since I last updated. ^^; Unfortunately my scanner died a few weeks ago, so I can't update my gallery until I get a new one. ;-; Hopefully I'll be able to get one sometimes around next week though. Anyways! I now have 3 TV Tamahome cels on the way, and 1 TV Tasuki. ^^ *g* I can't wait to get them! My tux tama is late though, I hope he didn't get lost in the mail. ;-; 8/25/2000 :: This has been somewhat of an odd cel week. ^^; I paid for the first half of my new Tasuki cel, then Wednesday I *finally* got a cel of Tamahome in his white tuxedo, and he's blushing. ^^ Kawaii! Also, I surprisingly got an e-mail from Saito this morning, saying I had won an auction on yahoo! japan, that had ended over 2 weeks ago. O.o;; So now I must pay for that, but I am very happy nevertheless. ^^; It's a beautiful cel of Tamahome from TV episode 47, where he fights with Suboshi. It even comes with a matching BG. ^^ My first backgrounded TV Tamahome!! ^^ For under $100 even, I'm so excited. ^^ Ja! 8/21/2000 :: Well one week has gone by, and I've managed to not buy any cels, so I don't put myself into debt. @.@ Nakago-sama came in the mail today, so his details are up on page 3 of the gallery! It's funny, instead of coming with the douga (though it did come with one, of his hand none-the-less), it came with the genga (timing sheet). It's neat to compare the layout sketch to the actual finished product, as some of the details were changed and edited. Very spiffy. ^^ 8/16/2000 :: Woo! Got a new TV Tasuki on the way, thanks to a good friend. His hair is so beautiful in this cel, it's so...so...-flowy- like. *.* Unlike his OAV counterpart. *grumble* It's so hard to find good cels of TV Tasuki these days, especially with the number of FY cel fans increasing. He was a bit expensive, but very worth it. Wai! I'm so happy to get another cel of Tasuki in his blue & black tv outfit. :D Anyways, I'm now officially broke for two weeks, as I just bought college books as well. *sweatdrop* 8/13/2000 :: I got my response back from Usagi's House, and I missed one cel but I got the other, which is of Raiel and his piano. ^^ It's a beautiful cel, I can't wait to see it in person. On a good note I finally bought the new N'sync today, after giving in to my groupie fangirl desires. It's a very good cd, I would reccommend it highly. yippie-yi-yay 8/7/2000 :: It's like 5am, and I had just woken up and decided to come check my e-mail. @.@ Why you ask? Because since I was the high bidder on the nakago auction #2 by Yann on ebay, I made him a buy-out offer to see if he'd end the auction early instead of waiting for those gawd-forbidden snipers. So guess what? Mostly expecting him to see "I'm sorry, I paid more that cel and am waiting for the price to go higher in the last day," or "I do not close auctions early at all," he accepted my offer! So now I have an *incredible* backgrounded TV Nakago *without* his goofy armour and with his shirt open and wearing the Shinzaho and the bg is matching! *squeal* I'm so excited! @.@ It's one of the most perfect Nakago-sama cels I've ever seen, and it'll be my first one! *claps* Wai! :D He'll be coming all the way from Switzerland. @.@ You can see a preview piccie of him ((- here - )) ! Waaiii I'm so excited. :D It comes in TV episode 43 or so, when Nakago traps Miaka in the tent after tricking her. He has her pinned against the wall at the moment with his "chi" then opens his hand towards her while sitting in a chair. As he closes his hand, the necklace that Tamahome's little sister Yuiren had made for her explodes from around her neck, such a rememberable scene that truely defines Nakago's evil-like nature! :D I still can't believe I'm getting this cel for so cheap. o.o; *sighs happily then drags herself back to bed for sweet dreams* 8/4/2000 :: Wee. I think the most odd one today was the strange man who bought over $50 worth of talking magnets then started to recite religous poetry to my manager and I. Very strange. Also my only co-worker got fired this week, so from now until they decide to hire someone new, I get to work all my shifts plus hers. So at least it wasn't a total loss. ^^; There was only one cel at Noriko's I wanted badly anyways, blee..I also saw a Scary Movie today, and I must say it sucked. Thank goodness for the fruit drink stand in the mall. 7/28/2000 :: Well, I've given it a lot of thought, and I've decided to expand into another series of cel collecting. After considering many different options, I decided that Escaflowne and Utena were both too expensive, and Slayers just has too much competition. So, I've decided to go with the Violinist of Hamelin. The artwork for this series is just beautiful, and I love the characters and story (from what I've seen of it), and also since it's a lesser known series the cels for it are very, very cheap. ^^; So! I bought my first cel of Hamelin-sama. ^^ It'll be here in a couple weeks! Hamelin-sama kakkoi. @.@ I'll still be collecting FY too, just not as heavily. I mostly have all the cels of characters I wanted now anyways. :p On a side note, I *finally* found a fansub place with the Card Captor Sakura and Utena movies! I also ordered the first 8 episodes of the Violinist of Hamelin. ^^ Wai! 7/26/2000 :: I rescanned my Tasuki & Tamahome cel from episode 33, it was looking kind of blurry. I also added my new Tamahome cel to page 3, I figured it safe to post it since I've sent off my payment for it now. :D I'll rescan it and put a new one up there when I get it though. Amazingly enough, I've kept up my ambition to not buy anymore cels until I pay for Miaka & Tama. Then again, there hasn't been anything posted that I'd kill for as much as I would this Tama & Miaka, so everything's just peachy. ;) In the meantime! I snagged a very *kickass* douga from Anime-Taro late last night, of Chichiri from one of the most awsome scenes he's in in the tv series. My friend Keith bugged me to death to give it to him instead, hence he who doesn't even collect cels recognized the scene immediatly. ;) It comes from TV episode 47,just after the moment that Mitsukake dies. Two soldier then begins to fight, enraging Chichiri. He then faces them and yells "YURUSUNAI!" (I won't forgive you) and orders them to quit fighting in front of his eyes. He's crying, and it's so unbelievably emotional. ;.; So I am *very* excited to get an A-1 key sketch from this scene, for such a great price! Wai! It's even more beautiful than I thought, I love it so very much. Both my Yui cel and the backgrounded Taka were mailed off today, so I should recieve those soon. Also, one more cel on the way, one of Mitsukake! From the TV series as well, I didn't expect to ever buy one of him, but it was such a good deal, and from the tv series, that I couldn't pass it up. :o Now all I need is a Hotohori to complete the seven seishi. ^^ Also, I have officially reserved an Amiboshi cel! Bwuah! *claps and glitter banners* 5/11/2000 :: I have a new *beautiful* Taka & Miaka romantic cel on the way, I'm so very glad to find this one! I already have my homemade background made for it to add to it when it arrives. *g* Luckily the sequence it's from, is also on the back of one of my cd's so I didn't need a screen cap to find what the original bg looked like. ^^ This is the cel without the bg, as a preview ((- here -)) I know I said I'd quit buying cels for the month of May, but it's too hard. ;.; So I've worked out a deal for my graduation present to be spending money for a-kon. :p I am hoarding away the rest of my money from work though to buy a very special cel at the end of May, hopefully. ^.- 5/8/2000 :: Well my SD Tasuki cel has been shipped, my new backgrounded Taka shall be shipped Thursday, so weee. ^^ Special thanks to my friend Mig-chan for selling me her Taka cel, I promise I'll keep it safe. ^^ and also a very special thanks to Kelly, for scanning your chuei cel bg for me. ^^ I appreciate it so much! My Tasuki-sama cel came in the mail while I was away on my trip. I managed to save enough money from my trip as well to buy another cel before a-kon! Well a few actualy. :p I have a new Tasuki cel on the way from Anime Taro, a SD shot from the OAV I Omake! I'm so thrilled, I've been looking for one for a long time. :D You can see an example of it ((- here -)) I also will have a new backgrounded cel of Taka from the OAV II episode 6 (wai!) coming in soon. I'll be updating my gallery on June 5th, the day I get back from A-kon 2000. See ya'll then! 4/22/2000 :: Blargh!@#$ I lied again. *tears her hair out* I'm never going to be able to save up for a-kon at this rate. X.x Anyways, a new Yui cel is on the way (from the TV series! WAI!). Therefor I am in the hole. Again. But oh well, graduation is the week right before a-kon so hopefully a few relatives will chip in for my spending money. >P Wee. I finally found where the Yui cel comes in after hours of re-watching my episodes. Turns out the colors in the show are actually red, instead of blue. I have a Tamahome cel like this too. Anyways it's from episode 11, when Nakago reminds Yui of what happened to her when she arrived in Kotou, and it's from her flashback. Tis very interesting. Anyways, ja! 4/19/2000 :: Okay well I lied. I went ahead and added the new Tasuki cel to my gallery mainly cause I have nothing better to do and it's so pretty. @.@ Should be here fairly soon though, hopefully before I leave on my trip next Wednesday. Wee! 4/17/2000 :: My order from Noriko's Anime came in today! New scans of the Nuriko, and Tamahome & Miaka cels are up. I added my homemade background to the Tama & Miaka cel, it turned out very nice and went well with it! I plan on having it framed perhaps after a-kon. I have a new Tasuki cel on the way, along with a bunch of planned cels that I'm going to purchase at the beginning of May. I may not add any of them to my gallery until after a-kon which is in June though, we'll see. Take care everyone! 4/11/2000 :: My Miaka cel came in the mail this week! Tis very pretty, I love it. I also updated my wish list, again. I expanded it out a bit to be a little more specific. Thanks so much, take care everyone! 3/31/2000 :: Wai! 2 new cels are on the way, both are from episode 33! *claps happily* One is of Nuriko right after he dies, and another is of Tamahome dragging Miaka back to Nuriko's body. *sniff* Such sad scenes, but very hard to find ones. Thanks Noriko-san! 3/28/2000 :: Yay hey, Chiriko came in the mail today! It's very pretty, and even though Anime Taro said it wasn't a key cel, it turns out it's an End Key cel, wai! Tis very pretty, and very pink. @.@ The other Miaka should be here next week or so. I won't be adding more cels very likely, until perhaps towards the end of April, as used the rest of my money to buy new FY tapes. :P Ah well, have fun minna-san! 3/13/2000 :: 4 new cels have been posted in my Fushigi Yuugi section! Wai! They're very beautiful ones too, a great addition. *-* I got back from Animaziment this weekend, so an overview of that and my experience is in my 'thoughts' section. This may be my only and last update for this month, hence I need to save money for a trip to St. Louis. X.x Ja! 3/01/2000 :: Another day, another new layout. I like this one a lot better than the last. It is a lot less....pink and bright. Not that that is a bad thing, sometimes I just like a smooth, refreshing look instead. :oP Anyways, that's about all that is new for now, except I added a new section for fun, "my thoughts" Interesting, yes I know. Have fun! 2/26/2000 :: Decided I should make a separate update pagie for my cels section. ^^ Anyways, I'll probably be updating the cel dealer list soon, as well as my wish list since some of them have been found (wai!). Also, 3 new cels have been added to my gallery, which will be coming in the mail within the next few weeks or so, including a new favourite of mine, Tasuki & Miaka. :D Thanks Noriko-san! Also new is a sequence of Taka and Keisuke (Miaka's brother). The cels come right after each other in the episode, and the camera scans across their eyes as Keisuke's chewing Taka out for leaving Miaka behind in the book. :P So of couse I couldn't just get one and not the other to go with it. :oP but they're very pretty. ^^ Ja!
