8/28/2004 :: This week's episode of Axess #47 was entitled, "A Message From Outer Space". Beware, spoilers below. On we go!

The episode begins with a recap from last week, where Enzan finally tracked down the location of Dr. Regal's satellite, which was hidden deep in space. After the event, all of the countries decide to have their individual satellites attack Dr. Regal directly. Enzan, Anetta, Comissioner Kifune and Manabe watch from the main control room as the events unfold.

Sitting in his giant throne chair, Dr. Regal simply smirks, and pushes a single button without even bothering to lift his hand. As a purple light erupts from Regal's satellite, emergancy warnings begin to go off in the Net Police's control room.

Meanwhile, Meiru arrives to join a waiting Netto at the hot springs. Not only that, but Dekao and Chisao join them as well! (Dekao's wearing a very amusing pink shirt with yellow bananas imprinted on it. O_o)

The scenes flicker back inbetween Netto and his friends joining up, and all of the country's satellites exploding in space as they're shot down by Dr. Regal. One of the crew members informs them that the attacks are coming directly from Regal.

As Netto, Dekao, Chisao and Meiru wait in front of the building, a familiar limosine pulls up, and extends a long red carpet from the door. It's the stunning Yaito-chan! (who seems to have grown some few inches taller)

On the computers in the main control room, each satellite on their map is marked off with a red X one by one as they're destroyed. Anetta and Enzan are both in disbelief as they watch the commotion.

It's back into space once again for Netto and his friends! They've all boarded the spaceship that is hidden within the hot springs building. When Rockman expresses his concern, he finds out that Netto is going into space without any permission. As a cue, a very angry and spooky voice bellows out, "Hiikarriiii Neettoooo!" We see Kifune's eyes fill up the giant moniter at the front of the ship.

Kifune is just a little upset that Netto has decided to take things into his own hands. Netto simply blows him off, then curtly cuts off communications. Rockman embarrasingly says "Netto-kun... as Netto breaks out in a triumphant laugh.

Everything is ready to go, it's time for lift off! The flight staff makes all of their last minute checks, and with Yaito's command, they blast off into space. A high pitched scream goes off as the ship leaves the ground, coming from the outside. It's Tohru! Yet again the poor boy, along with Rush, get left behind on the space adventure. (Refer back to episode "Object J From the Satellite")

Back at the Net Police, Kifune tries to get back into contact with Netto, but has no luck. Enzan can't figure out why Netto went by himself, leaving him behind. As a matter of fact, Yaito is in quite an unpleasant mood aboard her ship. Everyone turns around to see what the fuss is about, and notices Yaito sketching on a piece of paper, muttering "Enzan...you'll pay for this!"

She then throws away the paper, allowing Meiru to fetch it as it floats through the air. Everyone gathers around to take a look, and are astonished to see a picture of Enzan and Anetta together. Anetta is crossed out, while Enzan has many funny marks all over him, and a gigantic line is seperating the two. Yaito-chan is jealous! Chisao simply says, "Scary-chu..."

Deep in the recesses of space, Junkman is happy as he operates his giant space satellite of....junk. Suddenly an alarm goes off, notifying him of an object approaching.

Junkman: "Konnichiwa! (Good afternoon!) I'm Junkman. Are you a friend? ......... ore? No one's there....that's strange. I was mistaken?"

Unfortunately, the strange hidden object is none other than Dr. Regal. The man watches Junkman's satellite on the monitor, then gives an arrogant "hmph" as he pushes a button, and fires his laser directly through Junkman's home!

Aboard the spaceship, Netto fills in the others about Dr. Regal, Dark Chips, and the Dark Loids. The ship is suddenly jolted as they run into something! As the bring up the monitor, they see an immense amount of debris floating in their way. One of the crewmembers informs them that they are headed straight towards a giant object!

Netto immediatly plug-in's Rockman into the ship's operating system, allowing the navi to take control of the combat abilities. Rockman locks on to the giant target blocking their way...until a voice suddenly tells him to stop! Rockman halts the laser gun, and Junkman's home stops just before the ship can reach it.

Inside the net, Junkman fills Rockman in on what happened to his precious satellite. Rockman says he hasn't seen anything...but definately believes this is the fault of Nebula. Netto tells the two that they can't do anything as long as all of this debris is blocking their way.

And so, Junkman is more than happy to help his friends! Stating, "Rockman, leave it to me!", both Junkman and Rockman's symbols begin to glow. It's a Soul Unison! Rockman is shocked as he receives the power of Junk Soul. Rockman becomes embarrassed by Junkman's extreme fondess of their friendship, but is happy nonetheless. (Remember, Junkman values friendship more than anything, as we learned in his first episode).

Rockman thanks Junkman for his help, then logs out as he returns back to the Spaceship's server. Using the powers of Junk Soul, he immediatly sets to work on clearing away the junk that is blocking the spaceship's path. As he moves objects on the net, their counterparts in space also move out of the way. Junkman's satellite slowly rebuilds itself from the broken pieces, until once again it is fully operational.

Rockman reports to Netto that they're finished, and so the ship begins to go on its merry way again.....that is until that annoying purple laser strikes the side of it! Inside the net, Rockman continues to use his abilities to create a shield around the ship, deflecting the rest of the laser shots.

As the attacks go away, Rockman retracts his mouth guard, and tells Netto that Nebula's satellite is nearby. Sure enough, a giant space station appears right before their eyes as they look out the window. Their ship begins to rumble as Dimensional Converters begin to pop up all over the place, and a giant Dimensional Area dome forms around both their ship and Nebula's space station.

Dr. Regal's voice sounds out throughout the ship: he's been expecting them. Or at least Netto, in this case. Nebula's ship moves into position over Netto's ship, and a walkway stretches out, connecting the two. Dr. Regal beckons "Hikari Netto" to come to him if he wishes.

Outside the ship, a hoard of viruses have gathered. Netto knows he has to go alone, much to his friend's dismay. Dekao grunts about wishing he had a synchro chip, while Yaito tells Netto to be extra carefull. As the door closes behind him, Netto quickly uses his own Synchro Chip to transform.

Before leaving the ship, R Rockman activates the Barrier battle chip, so he will be protected as he crosses the bridge. R Rockman then floats away, waving to his friends whom are watching from inside. He successfully makes it over to Nebula's satellite without any problems.

As R Rockman sets foot inside Regal's ship, the barrier fades, and he retracts his mouthguard. Netto determindly says, "Lets go, Rockman!", which Rockman agrees, just as determined. R Rockman begins his run through the ship, entering hallway after hallway. Along the way he encounters various viruses, but he dispatches them easily with the Rock Buster. Netto comments that he wants to save his battle chips for later.

R Rockman exits an elevator, and finds a red carpet leading up to a pair of double doors. Rockman tells Netto to be careful as he starts to run towards the entrance. R Rockman prepares to ram the door, but just as he reaches it, they turn wide open! R Rockman falls flat on his face as he stumbles into the much larger room. As Netto rubs his nose, Rockman says "I told you to be careful, didn't I?" Netto annoyingly tells him to be quiet. ^_^;

R Rockman gets to his feet, and gawks at how huge the room is. Just then, Dr. Regal appears before him as he declines in his throne chair from the ceiling, stopping about halfway down. As Dr. Regal welcomes him to Nebula's ship, R Rockman demands that he leave the Earth alone. However, before they can say much more, Dark Blues appears!

Blues starts things off as he activates his sword, and flings off a dark Sonic Boom attack. R Rockman manages to dodge, then becomes surprised as he sees the immense damage Dark Blues caused where the attack had struck on the wall. Rockman quickly alerts Netto of more incoming attacks, which he blocks by activating three Met Guard chips to protect from all sides.

Blues simply states, "Not bad....however...!", and charges R Rockman full force. Netto uses the Area Steal to sidestep the incoming sword swipe, but quickly finds Blues once again at his side, matching his speed. Blues attacks with a Wide Sword, which R Rockman blocks once again, this time with a barrage of Stone Cubes.

The cubes stop Blues momentarily, but only just, as the Dark Loid uses his Wide Sword to slice apart each cube into pieces. R Rockman is astonished that Blues managed to destroy them with just a sword. Blues haughtingly informs him, "This is the power of the Dark Aura!"

With no time to react, Blues teleports himself directly in front of R Rockman, and grabs hold of his navi symbol in his fist. Both Netto and Rockman begin to scream as Blues infuses their symbol with dark power. Blues laughs at their pain, stating how much navis despise humans. Rockman retorts that he's wrong, and that Netto has always been by his side.

Netto says that he believes in the navi that he operates, and grabs hold of Blues' arm, yelling his name. "Blues! You are Enzan's....Enzan has not given up on you!" Blues furiously tells R Rockman to shut up, but Netto again reminds him about Enzan. As Blues shouts, "Be silent!", he begins to force more dark energy into R Rockman, resulting in greater pain.

However, something goes terribly wrong, and Blues' dark power starts to diminish! Dr. Regal watches in surprise as R Rockman's navi symbol begins to glow, then transports a blue light along Blues' arm, turning it back to normal! Blues quickly jumps away, and reverts his arm back to its Dark Loid state. "The Dark Aura...failed?!"

R Rockman falls to his knees, and solemnly tells Blues that Enzan is not his enemy. Blues clentches his fist, and fiercly reminds R Rockman that he is "Dark Loid Blues!" Determined not to be set astray, Blues continues to fling off dark Sonic Boom attacks. R Rockman dodges, and yells back, "You're wrong! You're Enzan's navi!"

Blues begins to lose control as he constantly yells out, "Be silent! Be silent! I don't believe it!" All of Dark Blues' now random attacks begin to destoy large areas of the ship, which Dr. Regal just won't allow. He pushes a button on his controls, and deactivates the Dimensional Area. Blues is then forced to log out, and Netto falls out of Cross Fusion.

Dekao is happy to see that the Dimensional Area has gone away. Netto confronts Dr. Regal, angry as ever. Before he can get much out of him however, Dr. Regal activates the engines on his ship. The entire place begins to rumble, and goes into zero gravity, allowing Netto to float. Regal says his goodbyes to "Hikari Netto", and promptly exits the room on his chair as it raises into the ceiling. Before Netto can catch him, explosions block his way.

Rockman hurridely tells Netto that the oxygen air is leaving the room. Giving a curse, Netto begins to float his way towards the double door exit, but is quickly running out of breath. As Rockman tells him to hang in there, the doors suddenly open: it's his friends! And they just happen to have Netto's space suit with them.

Yaito's spaceship is forced to detatch, and is sent spiraling into space! Netto and his friends are left stranded on Nebula's ship, which has gained speed at an alarming rate. Back at the Net Police headquarters, the others are informed that Netto and the others are upon Nebula's ship.....which is heading straight for the Earth!

Rockman frustatingly tells Netto that he can't gain control over the ship's functions. Meanwhile, Junkman notices Nebula's ship on his moniter, and becomes happy that a friend is coming his way. However, he then sees Netto and the others in the windows of the ship! Junkman forces his junk sateliite to follow Nebula's out of control ship, yelling at it to stop!

Junkman realizes that they're in a great deal of trouble, stating "Bad! They'll burn up in the atmosphere!" Indeed, Nebula's ship begins to flare up as the outer walls turn a bright red. The Net Police crew informs them that the ship is now entering the atmosphere. Junkman determinedly tells them, "Everyone! My power will save you!"

Bellowing out the word, "Change!", Junkman's sattelite breaks apart, and reforms itself around Nebula's ship, creating a protective layer. Junkman endures the extreme heat of the atmospheric burn, and inside the ship, Netto simply closes his eyes. Whatever happens, there's no longer anything he can do.

The clouds give way to reveal the ocean below, which alarms Junkman, who is still yelling "Stop! Stop!". Anetta prays, while a very nervous Enzan keeps his eyes on the screen. At the very last moment before impact, Junkman creates a giant parachute made of junk, and together they plummet into the water.

A feint tinkling sound can be heard.....it's a small windchime. The glaring sun shines down on Tohru and Rush, who are on their way to the onsen hot springs. From his balcony, Netto watches the two as they stop in front of his house momentarily. Netto meekly waves his hand and offers a kind "Yo", but is fiercly ignored by the two. They're obviously still upset that they got ditched the day before. ^_^;

Netto gives a small laugh, scratching his face with his finger in wonder. Netto's expression then turns very serious, as he mentions "At that time...Blues..." We can hear the TV from inside Netto's room, a news broadcaster reports the extraction of Nebula's ship from the ocean. There is no sign of Junkman's satellite, nor of Dr. Regal. Netto is very concerned about what Dr. Regal's absolute plan is.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the first time we've seen a Soul Unison that did not occur during a battle. Despite many thinking it pathetic, I actually really liked this. In the games, Rockman's Soul Unisons always occured after the battles had concluded, when he had made a strong connection with that navi. Junkman's devotion of friendship in a time of great need was the perfect opportunity for the Soul Unison.

Next week focuses in on Mariko and Yuriko's very strange relationship, and Needleman becomes.....Needlewoman? A new Cross Fusion is revealed! Don't miss it!
