{Battle Chip Info} Name: Radiation fist Hit points: 70 Attribute: Multi-functional weapon Damage: Melee: 60; Ranged: 50; Variable Attack ability: Breaking Memory use: 85 MB Codes: B, D, G Priority: 9 Battle Chip description: It downloads a thick grey-black gauntlet to a netnavi's fist. Even if it looks like a simple gauntlet, it generates and emits a mild cyber-radiation which lasts in short radius but can damage slowly the navi wearing it. Cyber-radiation is an invisible and unsensable electronic wave which can gradiously disrupt the codes on the viruses and navis. The radiation fist is capable of punching, but also features an extra harmful damage. When the user navi is charging for running, the fist can emit extra radioactive damage upon the enemies during direct contact. It will leave off some radioactive particles on the enemies which will drain hit points from them in a short while. It can even directly disrupt the opponent's battle chip data, which will make it disfunctional until it is restored. Battle Chip history: Since the spreading of the world popularity with PET technology, the development teams took their stand in using the source to develop net navi's, programs, viruses and battle chips. This battle-chip was developed as a multi-functional weapon, thanks to the efforts of the german Dayseize team. Since the beta stage, it was named as "Area Steal Detect". The meaning is that it could spread cyber-radiations for the nearest 10 square meters of the cyber-space, and connect them with the user navi's nervous system by the fist. If one or more navi's or other programs shows presence in the space around the user navi, the radiation will send signal to the user navi to detect it's movement with easy prediction. Even opponent navis can still be detected while they're using Area Steal/Grab. Illusionary battle chips, like Double body, can't affect the detecting radiation so the user navi can easily judge if it is real or fake of an opponent. There is a disadvantage, unfortunately. After the use of the Area Steal Detect and some constant detection signals have been sent the navi will weaken slowly with it's hit points constantly draining, in any minute resulting a spontaneous log-out. But it could also result an obvious deletion if that Area Steal Detect magnitude has increased a lot by the user navi, in order to detect wider areas. When the Area Steal Detect was moved to alpha stage, featuring a radiation fist, the science developers had to disable the Area Steal Detect by encrypting it's code and hide it. It saved some active memory spaces, and luckily the user navi's health in the future. Re-enabling the Area Steal Detect will require hard decryption in order to do it. The battle-chip was then renamed to Radiation fist. Since the usefulness of that battle-chip, several copies of the battle chips were produced but they were never in public because of the hazards it could make to the networks. Later, the incident in the Dayseize labs began to occur during the experiment with a science navi. Unfortunately, since that original battle-chip was tested, the encrypted codes ran wild during the navi's use and terrorized the local electronics. It deserted the development lab, resulting this incident. These battle chips were still whole in piece, and could be found by a teenager boy. He kept them for himself and found them useful. Author's Note: I have never planned in writing a fan fiction involving this Radiation fist, but at least I could show some examples of my inspired ideas since I've watched Rockman.exe and a little bit of Axess. ;) Jevgenij "Kustin" Kapustin jevgenij.kapustin89@tjelvar.org
